A SETTING THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF
Your event deserves the right setting, one that feels personal and allows people to feel completely at ease. The magic happens when you start making this place your own. We’re here to provide all the energy, knowledge and support you need to navigate our unusual and exciting set of ingredients.
From the emotive drama of The Grange to the rustic charm of Abbotstone Farm, each of our venues offers a different environment but the same attention to detail and welcoming feel of the Estate we’ve become well-known for.
The Grange – our neo-classical mansion, saved from destruction in 1978 and transformed into a roofed ruin. Its exposed interiors reveal the layers of the building’s history as you move through it, creating a truly one-of-a-kind setting that brings romance, drama and character to any event.
Abbotstone Farm – a private hamlet entirely within Estate control, centred around a working farmyard and home to an 8-bedroom farmhouse, garden cottage and a characterful barn with seating for up to 60 guests. For overnight events, Abbotstone Farm offers a complete setting in which to host, gather and stay.
A BACKDROP FOR YOUR IMAGINATION
The Walled Garden – a breathtaking three-acre private garden that once provided The Grange with an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers. Today, it has been transformed into an ornamental sanctuary, with enchanting herbaceous borders, lush shrubs, flourishing orchards and meandering pathways leading through woodland glades, along the serene banks of the ornamental lakes, over historic flint bridges and past grottos and flint follies waiting to be explored
Abbostone Wood Campsite – our exclusive-use private campsite is designed for groups to enjoy the Hampshire countryside uninterrupted. Set across 9 acres of meadow and 28 acres of woodland, there is plenty of space for games, exploring and open-fire cooking. With composting loos, hot and cold showers, and washing-up facilities, it offers all the simple pleasures of sleeping under canvas — without feeling too stripped back. And if wrestling with tent poles and guy ropes isn’t your idea of relaxing, we work with trusted partners who can create beautiful bell tent villages ready for your arrival.
YOUR EVENT YOUR WAY
The Grange Auditorium – housed within the old orangery of The Grange, our 570-seat auditorium offers an exceptional setting for presentations, conferences and seminars. With breakout spaces available in the main house afterwards, guests can move seamlessly from stage to conversation, all while overlooking the Estate’s surrounding landscape park.
The Wider Estate – with over 3,000 acres of Hampshire downland, woodland and water meadows, we can help you find the perfect private location for the experience you want to create — bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase “sense of place.”
STAY A LITTLE LONGER
To experience the full breadth and range of the Estate, we always think it’s a place that is best lived and breathed with an overnight stay. Our accommodations are full of generous living spaces within which to mingle, comfortable bedrooms for recharging after long nights, and long tables for congregating around and sharing stories, both at the start and ends of the day. Whether you’re gathering a small group, or filling all 20 of our bedrooms with guests, staying on the Estate allows the nuances of your event to unfold naturally, without feeling structured or rushed.

For those wanting to build something a little bit different into their time here with us, we offer a range of authentic, rural experiences that are rooted in the Estate and our surroundings.
