A proper camping experience wouldn’t be complete without a fire. Sensible campfires are encouraged, and we provide a generous supply of logs with your booking. Abbotstone Wood is available exclusively for sole use bookings only and is open from April to October. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, midweek stay, or a longer retreat, it’s a brilliant spot to slow down, disconnect, reconnect, and soak up some nature. The site offers all the essentials to make your stay comfortable, including four composting loos, two hot showers, two cold-water showers for those brave enough to embrace a refreshing start to the day, and a communal kitchen area with sinks and drying racks.
