The Country Brocante Fair

The Country Brocante Fair hosts their first ever Spring offering at The Grange, Hampshire on the 8th and 9th April 2022.

The Country Brocante Fair brings together some of the finest small interior businesses, unique merchants and makers in stunning and prestigious locations and this makes for a really creative and exciting shopping experience.

Run by founder, Lucy Heywood and her team in West Sussex, The Country Brocante Fair offers, not only a truly independent shopping experience but also an opportunity to immerse oneself in a quintessentially English country garden atmosphere. Visitors can browse the antique and vintage stalls in the marquee, stroll through the garden rooms and pause for lunch or a cup of tea and a slice of cake in Becka Cooper’s cafe. There is always an abundance of classic French ‘Brocanterie’, vintage furniture and decorative pieces, interesting curiosities, pretty vintage homewares, plants and flowers, old garden tools and accessories, simple French enamelware and piles of gorgeous antique fabrics and quilts.

Lucy Heywood’s passion for mixing French and English interiors and antiques is the running thread throughout the look and feel of the Fairs. But over the years this has developed to include a carefully curated selection of new designers, makers and artisans offering beautiful handmade jewellery, home accessories and garden wares to compliment the vintage collections. The Country Brocante is passionate about providing a platform for creative and small businesses who want to be seen and found only in beautiful venues and curated events.

This year there will be even more opportunities to take in a talk, workshop or demonstration from leading creatives and experts.  Lucy and her team are excited to introduce The Country Brocante Bookshop at The ‘First Spring’ Fair, where they will be filling shelves with their most favourite creative living books from new and established authors and friends of The Country Brocante.
